Lerato Foundation is strengthening its governance through the restructuring of its Board of Governors. This reinforces our commitment to nurturing leaders and transforming lives across Kenya’s 47 counties.

Role of the Board of Governors

• Approving policies and strategic plans
• Overseeing implementation and impact of programs
• Ensuring accountability, transparency, and good governance
• Supporting resource mobilization and partnerships
• Acting as ambassadors of Lerato Foundation in their communities

Our Flagship Programs

• Mentorship Program: guiding youth to discover talents, make informed choices, and maximize potential.
• Life Program (Nutrition & Clean Water): restoring dignity by providing access to food and safe water.
• Education Support Program: offering scholarships to bright but financially challenged students excelling in academics, leadership, and service.
• Sports Outreach Program: engaging youth through sports integrated with mentorship and life skills to reduce harmful behaviors and build resilience.
• Community Development & Empowerment: strengthening communities through vocational training, health awareness, leadership workshops, and sustainable partnerships.
